The success of immediate implant placement is dependent on the bony architecture on the buccal aspect of the socket. The presence of a fenestration defect in the buccal cortical plate may jeopardize the esthetic outcome, especially if the clinician does not undertake adequate soft and hard tissue augmentation different procotocols to manage hard and soft tissues defect for immediat implant placement in aesthetic zone hard and soft tissues defect in two patients has been managed by the use of an esthetic buccal flap design and socket shield tecknique in the anterio maxillary region followed by anterior ommediat implant placementIn both cases the soft and hard tissues around the implant were very stable, which means that both the protocols can achieve reliable therapeutic effects Immediate implant placement with simultaneous hard- and soft-tissue augmentation facilitated the restoration of a healthy peri-implant tissue complex and delivery of a functional and esthetic final implant-supported restoration
